T-Cell AG was founded in 2022 as a start-up by experienced scientists, international managers and experts from the energy sector.
The motivation was to develop the world's best energy generation (heat and electricity) using sustainably produced operating materials for series applications.
Not a laboratory realization, but an industrially planned application.
Scientific principles from universities (Brandenburg University of Cottbus/Senftenberg) and research institutions (Fraunhofer Gesellschaft IKTS) should be used as a basis for bringing application-oriented applications for stationary and mobile applications into series production.
The core competencies of T-Cell AG are the series development of a wide range of user-specific applications (mobile, stationary, power-controlled, heat-oriented and decentralized) with subsequent industrialization and, in particular, the cost-effective implementation of the advantages of this technology for B2B applications. This means tapping into economic potential for industry and the economy – of course in a CO₂-neutral way.
The wide range of applications of this SOFC technology is suitable for internationally operating companies/investors who aim to scale this technology in relation to energy-intensive markets.
As CEO of Berlin-based T-Cell AG, Kurt Blumenröder is your contact person.
With many years of experience in the automotive industry with leading manufacturers in top management positions and close contacts to research partners at home and abroad and long-term cooperation with the Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus - Senftenberg, Dipl.-Ing. Kurt Blumenröder will discuss individual use cases and extensive information with you.
Some partners have refrained from being named for competitive reasons. Industrial partners from the USA, the EU and Asia work with T-Cell AG - but are also "affiliated" with local partners in nationally funded projects - which does not stand in the way of the further development and dissemination of the technology. The BTU and Fraunhofer IKTS represent the partnerships not mentioned.

On July 3, 2023, at a ceremonial signing ceremony accompanied by State Secretary Dr. Friederike Haase, Mr. Sebastian Saule (WFBB), Ms. Silke Schwabe (IHK) and Ms. Kristin Wenk (WFBB), the cooperation with the Chinese partner province of Hebei, represented by State Secretary Wu Weidong and the President of the world's largest rail vehicle manufacturer CRRC-Tangshan Zhou Junnian, was agreed with T-Cell AG. CRRC and the province of Hebei rely on the high-temperature fuel cell (turbo-SOFC) for energy generation. The cooperation between CRRC and T-Cell AG is a first step towards the worldwide use of this technology on an industrial scale.
